The People of Mathare
My name is Stephen Otieno and I am 13 years old. We have eight in our family and I am the last born. My hobbies are watching cartoons, singing and dancing and photography.
In future I would like to be a professional photographer. I have chosen photography since I want to surprise people with stories of peoples’ lives in Mathare slum.
In Mathare slum there are so many things that go on that need a lot of attention as well as some that should be terminated. Thanks to the Mwelu Foundation for creating a platform for us to air our stories to other people in the world.
