I am Steven Otieno Ochieng and I am 13 years old. I go to school at Kiboro primary school in Mathare slum. I like taking photos and playing football. I am the last born in a family of five. But now there are only three of us because I lost both my parent when I was a young kid. My grandmother was the one who was living with us for the time being.

It was very lucky that I met with Julius in the slum. I told him about my life and now Julius is the one who is paying my school fees. Now I live with him because my two brothers are both jobless and for them to buy food for me is very hard. Julius works very hard to see that we have something to eat. He is like my mother and my farther because I am getting everything from him.

What I would like to tell the whole world is to have hope in life and to trust in yourself.
