The People of Mathare
I am called Michael Muia.
I am an 11 year old boy and in our family there are 9 of us. I go to school at Valley View Academy. I am in class 4 now. I like taking photos of Mathare slum very much. It shows to people who have never been there how the slum looks. I also like playing football with my friends.
I like photography because it keeps me very busy all the time and it makes me happy to have that camera in my hand. So photography is life to me.
