Joan Convene
The People of Mathare
My name is Joan Convene. I live in Mathare and I am in standard 6 in St James’ Primary School. I believe that photography plus other creative arts will help me in my future.
But to me and my family, photography can be dangerous and at the same time it is very useful. We are six in our family and we are all women in the house and we believe in God. I pray for the Mwelu Foundation to grow bigger and help even more than this.
