The People of Mathare
My name is Benson Kamau and I live in Mathare. I am the program coordinator in the Mwelu Foundation, currently working hard to make ends meet for the young generation’s artistic photographers. I long to see many generations achieving a bright future through the hands of the Mwelu Foundation by providing a conducive environment in whatever one dreams in this photography based organisation. It is hard to realise the talents found in the poorest places but we will make sure that a slum produces world renowned professionals.
