The Mwelu Foundation

My name is Peris Muthoni. I am 15 years old and I live in Mathare. We are four children in my family which is headed by both of my parents. I learn in a school called Valley View Academy.

I have been inspired by different media houses and how they do their reporting and castings. That’s why I joined a youth group in Mathare called the Mwelu Foundation to be a journalist in the future.

My hobbies are taking photographs, singing, dancing and watching movies.
