The Mwelu Foundation

My name is Jeff Mohammed. I was born on 19th April 1992 and I am now 17. I have had an interest in cameras ever since I was small. And I was envious every time I saw a camera because I did not have one myself.

I joined the Mwelu Foundation in February 2009 and I now know many things about photography and videography. As I speak I can feel that my dreams are taking shape and will one day come true.

Being born into a family of five taught me how to fight for attention and after both my parents passed away when I was 12 I was also forced to learn to be independent. I now feel that I am fully prepared for the challenges of the future.
