Most of these children's parents or older siblings lurk around to watch them. The parent could have been standing right next to the photographer. As proof, the toycar on the photo would literary be forcefuly taken away from the child in seconds were there to be a lack of adult supervision in any part of Kenya. Such toys, which are rarety for most children in Kenya, would provide anybody who can acquire and sell it to someone else with a meal for the day.
