The Mwelu Foundation

This is a photo of the Mwelu Foundation football team. This team was formed in the year 2000. At this time Julius Mwelu got the idea of starting a photography project involving the youths in the slum. The youths inspired Julius through their enthusiasm and dedication to the project. So that’s how some of us become photographers.
