Valley View School

Valley View is one of the biggest primary schools in Mathare with hundreds of pupils. Primary education is free in Kenya, but Valley View is actually a fee paying school. The conditions here are far better than the government run schools in the slum - every class has a teacher and every pupil has a chair. There are 40-50 students per class as opposed to 80 in the government schools. English is taught well here.
